Pool & Spa Leak Repairs Adelaide
Leaking spas seem scary or extremely alarming! However, don't worry! The spa shell doesn't typically cause leaks. Also, are quite an easy fix. Not sure where the issue is or don't trust yourself? Give us a call!
Here's a small list of what can be the cause:
Spa Pump Leaking
A pump leak can arise from a problem with the shaft seal, joints, unions or the wet end volute. Also, can be fixed by determining where the leak is occurring, and fixing or repairing the parts and spots causing the leak. Still unsure where? We inspect, service and maintain spas.
Spa Plumbing Leaks
Plumbing and pipe leaks are where things begin to get a little tricky! Most common causes of a leak are listed in the info above. However, in rare circumstances can be caused by freeze damage to the PVC pipe. More commonly it can be caused by the glue between the pipe and couplings, spa jet, unions or tee fittings wearing out over time. Glue can get worn out when it was applied too thin initially.
Spa Lighting Leaks
Light lenses for your spa lights can get loose or crack; this usually happens with spas that use high heat lights. We can repair and replace the lights for your spa if they're leaking or causing troubles.
Spa Filter Leaking
The leaking filters get fixed with either new o-rings or gaskets, and sometimes a new housing for the filter! We always carry on hand new filters and parts of many brands!
